Nicholas Nickleby
Nicholas Nickleby or The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby is Charles Dickens's third novel. He returned to his favourite publishers and to the format that was considered so successful with The Pickwick Papers. The story centres on the life and adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, a young man who must support his mother and sister after his father dies.
The novel has been adapted for stage, film or television at least seven times.
